The 7-village GRÜNE RUNDE trail begins and ends in Baar-Wanderath, but can also be started from any other point along the route.

Resting benches at various viewpoints invite you to enjoy the charming nature and the wonderful views over the idyllic landscape of the Vordereifel.

The 7-village trail leads through extensive wooded areas, across meadows and fields, juniper heaths and romantic stream valleys.

Characterized by the ridges and valleys of the Eifel, there are always wonderful views of the densely wooded surroundings as far as the Nürburg.

Again and again, hikers pass small chapels and shrines that invite them to rest and reflect.

The 7 Villages Trail is signposted with small wooden "7 D" signs and a green dot.

The 7 Villages Trail green loop has a total length of around 8 kilometers and runs through extensive wooded areas and romantic stream valleys. The total walking time for the route is approximately 2.5 hours.
